The implementation of E-social is being done in stages. On January 8, 2018, companies with an annual turnover of more than 78 million were required to register their employees’ information on E-social.

Companies with sales of less than 78 million will join the system from July 16, 2018. Public entities will have the initial deadline on January 14, 2019.

The IRS anticipates an increase in tax revenues of R $ 20 billion per year with the implementation of the E-Social, which will eliminate errors in the information that lead companies to pay less taxes than is due.

In addition to the increase with the collection, there will be greater control over the payments and taxes collected by the employer.

The environment for testing and validation of data is already available in the portal of E Social http://portal.esocial.gov.br/. There you can access the deployment calendar, updated layouts and guidelines on how to validate company and employee information, as well as access to file submission monthly.
