Manrique Blen, Head of BD/AM at Auxadi’s Miami Hub, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Spain-U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Florida for the 2026–2029 term. The announcement was made last week, when the Miami-based Spanish institution revealed the 20 professionals who will serve on its Board.
Miami as the gateway to the United States
Auxadi’s commitment to Florida is further reinforced with the appointment of its Miami Hub representative, Manrique Blen, a Costa Rican national and one of the firm’s longest-serving professionals. Through this appointment, Auxadi will continue strengthening Miami’s role as a strategic bridge between the United States, Latin America and Europe.
Auxadi’s relationship with U.S. businesses was one of the driving forces behind the firm’s foundation in 1979 by Víctor M. Salamanca and Emilio Llamas. In fact, the firm’s first clients were U.S. multinationals expanding into Spain through Madrid. Auxadi’s international expansion strategy, first launched in 2012, culminated with the firm’s entry into the U.S. market in 2019. The objective was to better support CFOs of U.S. multinationals expanding into Latin America, Spain and the rest of Europe, while also assisting Spanish and European companies with their expansion into the Americas.
Auxadi’s presence in Miami was further strengthened in 2025 through two major milestones. First, the firm opened a new office in Miami, which now serves as one of Auxadi’s main hubs alongside Madrid, supporting the continued growth of its U.S. team. Later that year, the first U.S. edition of LATAM Days Miami was held with the support of the Spain-U.S. Chamber of Commerce, promoting investment flows from the United States into Latin America.
In 2026, Auxadi also launched its BizzBreakfast format -business breakfast events held in Miami to discuss opportunities and challenges related to international expansion. Recent editions have explored strategic industries such as the energy sector in Latin America, as well as high-growth economies including Peru.
Strengthening the connection between Europe and the Americas

As Head of BD/AM at Auxadi’s Miami Hub, Manrique Blen has extensive knowledge of the Latin American economy and has actively promoted commercial ties between the United States and Latin America. His expertise on cross-border investment flows is reflected in a series of white papers exploring some of the region’s most attractive industries, including Back Office Nearshoring and Fintech.
His contribution to promoting regional economic growth has led to this appointment within one of the leading institutions supporting Spanish companies and entrepreneurs looking to enter the U.S. market.
