Auxadi has received the "Most Committed Company" award for the fourth time at the 15th Migranodearena Awards, in recognition of its 16th Charity Football Tournament. The latest edition raised €34,624 for Saint Martin's School in Nairobi, Kenya. The funds made it possible to purchase and install solar panels to reduce the school's energy costs.

The ceremony took place on October 29 at the Migranodearena Foundation's headquarters in Barcelona. Adriana Salamanca, Account Executive, and Lidia López, Director of Talent Management, accepted the award on behalf of the firm.

A local event with an international impact

In September 2025, 24 teams from companies and organisations across Spain gathered at the facilities generously provided by AD Unión Adarve to take part in a new edition of the tournament. The event brought together more than 100 professionals through sport and solidarity.

Each participating organisation made a fixed donation, which Auxadi subsequently matched, bringing the total raised to €34,624. The funds have been used to install solar panels at Saint Martin's School, an educational centre that supports more than 1,000 children, providing access to education and meals in some of the most disadvantaged neighbourhoods of the Kenyan capital.

A renewed commitment

With this award, Auxadi has now been recognised as the "Most Committed Company" for the fourth time, retaining the title it also received last year, when the funds raised went to Fundación Instituto San José.

A morning of reflection and solidarity

Isabel Parellada, Director of the Migranodearena Foundation, opened the event by highlighting the community as the central theme of this year's edition.

Next, Silvia Bueso delivered a talk entitled "The art of conversation in the age of AI", reflecting on language in corporate environments and the collaboration between businesses and social organizations. Fernando Le Monnier then spoke about gamification, a tool he uses, as he explained, to "create impact and conversations through games".

Before the awards ceremony, the roundtable discussion "Communities that support causes" brought together three leading figures from the social and cooperative sectors. Enric Capdevila, from La Drecera, pointed out that in some areas of Barcelona "there are not as many resources". Elisa Ojeda introduced En Bici Sense Edat, an initiative that promotes "age inclusion in cycling". Finally, Jordi Campa, from the El Roser cooperative, presented its flagship project: "an educational community that complements learning with more critical thinking".

The winners of the 15th edition

Alongside Auxadi, Esther Ujaldón received the "Most Compassionate Individual" award in recognition of her fight against metastatic breast cancer, a cause supported by AECMM. The "Most Active NGO" award went to Fundación Amigos de Monkole for its work supporting 50 children in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, as they formalize their education.

Continuing to make a difference

Recognition of this kind encourages Auxadi to continue supporting its Charity Football Tournament, which has now reached its 17th edition. The next milestone will come in just a few weeks, with the launch of the tournament in Miami. The funds raised will go to the Advocacy Network on Disabilities to help tackle homelessness in South Florida.

Auxadi would like to thank the Migranodearena Foundation for this fourth recognition and reiterates its pride in being part of initiatives that bring the business community closer to social causes.
