The Leading Brands of Spain Forum (FMRE) and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Miami gathered various representatives of Spanish companies with a presence in the U.S. on September 11. Among these organizations, Auxadi attended as a ‘Supporting Brand’, with several members of the management team present, as well as colleagues based in America.

A week getting to know Miami

For three days, an Auxadi delegation—composed of its CEO, Víctor Salamanca; the VP of Sales, Comms. & Marketing, Margarita García; and the Talent director, Lidia López— visited leading companies in Miami.

This city, recognized as a key commercial hub between the U.S. and Latin America, was the setting for strategic meetings with Goya Foods, Avolta, and Telemundo. The objective of these visits was to deepen our understanding of the operations of Hispanic companies in Florida and of Spain’s relevance in various sectors within this American market.

In line with this expansion, Auxadi is celebrating its upcoming move to new offices in October, which will be located in the same building as the Consulate General of Spain in Miami, thus reinforcing its presence in the region.

This visit was fundamental to understanding the operations and dynamics of Hispanic companies in Florida, knowledge that will allow Auxadi to offer an even more tailored and valuable service to its clients in the region.

The ‘Friends of the Spain’ Ceremony

Finally, on September 11, Auxadi attended the ‘Friends of the Spain Brand and Spanish Brands’ ceremony, which took place at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel. On this occasion, our management team was joined by members of Auxadi America: regional director in LATAM, Manrique Blen; Armando García Bertini, Tax Manager in USA; and Sara Ortiz, BD in Miami.

As a ‘Supporting Brand,’ Auxadi was present at the event with a booth to promote the LATAM Days Miami on November 18. The Spanish firm was also part of the group of companies that presented the ‘Friends of Spanish Brands’ award. Auxadi’s choice was Telefónica, with the award being presented by Víctor Salamanca Cuevas to Cristina Valcarce, Head of Audit and Risk for USA & PR at Telefónica USA. Thanks to our partnership with the telecommunications company, Auxadi has been able to expand easily into other continents.

This venue brought together public and private figures who have promoted the growth of the ‘Spain Brand’ in the United States, a country that serves as a hub in global trade. For this reason, more than 160 people attended this event, including: the Ambassador of Spain to the U.S., Ángeles Moreno Bau; the Consul General of Spain in Miami, Belén Alfaro Hernández; and the Mayor of Miami-Dade County, Daniella Levine Cava.

Miami connecting LATAM and Europe

This experience has been key to confirming that Miami is an essential base for Auxadi’s expansion. Its strategic position, serving as a commercial bridge between Latin America, the United States, and Europe, justifies our decision to operate in this city.

The opening of our new offices and the organization of events like the LATAM Days Miami will allow the firm to consolidate our presence in the US market, establishing ourselves firmly in the region and strengthening our ability to support our global clients.
