Manrique Blen, LATAM Regional Director at Auxadi, was interviewed on February 18 on the Strive 305 podcast, produced by the Community Newspapers platform in Miami. The conversation was hosted by Yamilet Rivas, President and Founder of the United States Women’s Chamber of Commerce (CAMACOM), who led a dialogue focused on investment and growth dynamics in the region.
Business internationalization
The firm’s representative emphasized the importance of knowing “the client’s position” to find “what solutions they need, moving beyond simply selling the product on offer to understanding where the pain point is and being able to solve that problem”.
Drawing from his professional experience, he shared the typical profile Auxadi assists: “In many cases, it is the first time they have set foot in the country where they are requesting our support”. Consequently, the client wants us to “execute the processes and guide them hand-in-hand through that initial advisory phase”.
Managing multinationals and investment funds in over 50 countries has led to a key insight regarding international expansion: “What kills companies growing internationally is what they don’t know exists. One of the main sins is assuming that everything is the same everywhere.”
Regarding international expansion into the United States, he differentiated market entry based on where operations begin. “Each state has its own rules”, the LATAM Regional Director added on Strive 305.
Corporate tax compliance
Manrique Blen described proper tax management as “critically important”, especially to prevent “a fine from arriving in a couple of years”. Furthermore, he considered a “negligent” profile in “tax or Social Security matters” to be the “worst enemy” because it increases the likelihood of “encountering problems with the tax authorities”.
Auxadi and its solutions
The LATAM Regional Director took the opportunity to share the tools developed by Auxadi to facilitate client administration. He explained the primary function of MySPV, where a client “can view their financial statements within the accounting structure required locally by the country”.
He then announced on Strive 305 the series of events the firm is hosting at its Coral Gables office: “In January, we started with Peru”. This interview took place one day before the roundtable on “renewable energy investment opportunities in the region”: ‘Winds of change: investing in the Americas’ renewable future’.
Finally, he highlighted the digital release of the new “industry-specific white papers” that analyze the US-LATAM commercial relationship. Manrique Blen authors this content, describing it as “enriching” for CFOs seeking to obtain “a much more global vision of what is happening.”
Auxadi supports its clients in their internationalization process, with operations in 50 countries. Since October 2025, the firm has operated out of renovated offices in Coral Gables (FL), with the goal of promoting the American market; the United States and Latin America are central to this strategy.
