The 14th Migranodearena Awards ceremony took place on October 30 in Barcelona. This gathering brought together representatives of the key institutions: the beneficiary associations and the donor organizations. Rocío Siles, Talent Acquisition Manager, attended on behalf of Auxadi to receive the ‘Most Committed Company’ award, a recognition celebrating the success of the 15th Charity Football Tournament held in 2024.
A tribute to solidarity
The awards ceremony was held at the foundation’s headquarters, commemorating all campaigns published on the Migranodearena.org platform throughout the past year. The day began with a panel discussion on ‘Success Stories,’ which featured three leaders from the Fundación Josep Carreras, the Asociación Mil y Un Sueños, and Cooperating.
Subsequently, the organization presented Auxadi with the Migranodearena award for the ‘Most Committed Company’. This marks the third time the firm has achieved this recognition (previously in 2018 and 2019).
Rocío Siles highlighted the growth of the Charity Football Tournament: “Sixteen editions ago, it began as a humble indoor football tournament. Today, it has transformed into a benchmark annual event that, for a week in September, brings together renowned firms at the facilities of the AD Unión Adarve.”
She also dedicated a few words to the Fundación Instituto San José, the beneficiary association in 2024: “They are a true beacon of hope. Their work in neurological and traumatological rehabilitation is essential.”
To conclude, she underscored the successful fundraising, achieving “the significant figure of 35,860 euros” designated for “acquiring Artificial Intelligence-based equipment to continue creating individualized rehabilitation programs.”
16 editions and over €230k raised
The Auxadi Charity Football Tournament now has a long history, with hundreds of thousands of euros raised in favor of more than 15 social causes.
From here, we express our most sincere gratitude for being the top-voted entry in the Migranodearena Awards, but above all, we say thank you to those who make the tournament possible, edition after edition: thank you to the participating companies, with their donations and teams; thank you to the Auxadi volunteers, who coordinate the logistics of a very intense week; thank you to Unión Adarve and Indea Diversity, for providing their facilities and insurance, respectively.
Receiving the “Most Committed Company” award reinforces the essence of our culture. Beyond our contribution, we hope this distinction encourages other firms to join solidarity initiatives. This is a mission we will continue to pursue, with enthusiasm and firmness, year after year.
