In a recent interview for The Legal Podcast, Víctor Salamanca, CEO and Executive Chairman of Auxadi, detailed the strategic roadmap that has transformed the firm into a leader in international accounting services. The origin: vocational drive and the first steps

The firm was founded in 1979 by Víctor M. Salamanca with a clear mission: to assist international clients as they established operations in Spain. Víctor Salamanca (the current CEO) recalls that professional excellence was a pillar from the start; his father even moved to England at age 40 to study English, specifically to enhance the firm’s bilingual capabilities.

Víctor formally joined in 1998 as “employee number 13” in a team of just 15 professionals. At that time, Auxadi was already supporting major American multinationals such as Cisco Systems, Pizza Hut, and Clark Shoes.

The turning point: the 2009 crisis and leadership transition

The true transformation began in 2009, a year Salamanca describes as a “wake-up call”. Following an operational crisis in Chile and health challenges within the executive team, the firm reached a critical crossroads.

It was then that his father determined the succession with a definitive phrase: “From now on, you are in charge”. Víctor took the helm and professionalized the firm from the ground up, implementing Harvard Business School methodologies and upgrading technology to standardize accounting for multinationals through every subsidiary.

To sustain this rapid global expansion, Víctor’s vision propelled Auxadi to become a technology-driven company.
