Auxadi was proud to be a sponsor at the Federation of Ibero-American Exchanges (FIAB) General Assembly and Annual Meeting 2025, held in Madrid from September 16-18. The event, hosted at the historic Palacio de la Bolsa, underscores its commitment to supporting the development and collaboration of capital markets in the Ibero-American region. This sponsorship is part of the strategic focus on strengthening its presence and role in the global financial sector.

An enriching conference

Auxadi’s participation in the 52nd FIAB Annual Meeting Madrid focused on gaining a deeper understanding of the needs of publicly listed companies, reaffirming its commitment to supporting key multinationals and investment funds in the region.

The event gathered prominent investment professionals from Spain, Portugal, and Latin America, creating an ideal environment for knowledge exchange. Representing Auxadi were: Margarita García, VP of Sales, Comm. & Marketing; Cristina Hernández, Alba González, and Gisleno Castro, all Account Managers.

Key topics included investment opportunities, regulation, and the impact of Artificial Intelligence on capital markets. In a notable session, Jorge Alegría, CEO of the Mexican Stock Exchange, highlighted three main challenges for the industry: unequal competition, a lack of financial education, and the regulation of financial assets.

Edson Munguía, Vice President of Stock Market Supervision at CNBV Mexico, also emphasized the need to guide investors so they feel “protected” when channeling their assets. Speakers stressed the importance of simplifying access to the stock market. In this regard, Ángel Gallego, Associate Director of Public Affairs at KREAB Spain, highlighted the importance of reducing barriers to entry, either through tax improvements or process simplification.

The future of the Ibero-American Stock Exchange

Auxadi’s presence at the FIAB Assembly provided privileged access to key information on Ibero-American capital markets. The event not only served as a platform for experts but also acted as a bridge to bring current events and opportunities in the region to a wider audience.

As part of the agenda, a Gala Dinner was held at the Royal Tapestry Factory, which was attended by another Auxadi delegation. The firm’s representatives included Víctor Salamanca Cuevas, CEO, Rima Yousfan, VP of Intl. Corps, and Margarita García Díaz-Varela.
