The National Superintendency of Tax Administration (Sunat) postponed to July 2016 the obligation to consign the companies vehicles number plates on invoices for the purchase of fuel and maintenance. Invoices for fuel expenditure MUST register the number plate for company vehicles from July 2016.
Tax Control
In Peru, many families have vehicles for private purposes so when they purchase fuel. They provide the company el RUC (Company ID) and then use it as a tax credit for their businesses. Under this situation, Sunat decided a simple and fast solution to control it: “forcing all companies who purchase fuel or service for the vehicle consigned the company number plates on the purchase bill”.
