Since the month of March the Mexican National Institute of Migration (INM) has made available for foreigners a registration of a new Air FMME (Multiple Migratory Form Electronics), to be completed online. This immigration form is available to all temporary foreign visitors entering Mexico for a period of less than 180 days and who do not receive any financial remuneration in the country.

Once completed and printed the FMME, there will be 30 days to deliver it at the airport to the corresponding immigration authorities for sealing and until that time the FMME will not be valid. The “in person” procedure is also still maintained in the entry points to the country.

The INM implemented the online FMME in August 2015, but only for foreigners entering by land.
