Chile, through the internal tax system (SII), will host from March 7th to March 10th a forum that will address the topic: “Information Exchange for tax purposes”, organized by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

The Summit will bring together representatives of government institutions and tax administrations from the US, Spain, Mexico, Peru, Paraguay, Argentina, Costa Rica, Panama, Cuba, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, as well as national representation on behalf of SII.

The meeting is part of the official OECD agenda as the organization has a great concern about tax evasion in the world.

As a consequence of these treaties, from 2018 Chile will take part in the technological platform that shares the databases of the tax administrations of the countries that are part of the agreement promoted by the OECD and the G20.
