SAT introduces new facilities for Natural Person to submit their annual declaration for 2016

Employees who received a single employer’s income in 2016, even if they exceeded 400,000 pesos, will be exempt from filing their annual tax return, as reported by the Tax Administration Service (SAT). However, the reporting obligation is maintained for those who earned income from two or more employers. Previously, employees with incomes above 400,000 pesos were required to file their annual tax return. It is estimated that 1.9 million employees can benefit from this measure.

In addition, taxpayers who want to submit their declaration to obtain deductible expenses, can do it in any month of the year and not necessarily in April, as previously established.
