Peru is part of the global economy integration process (globalization), which has permitted important progresses in the country’s economy development. This process has made Peru an attractive country for investors and international businesses, constituting a perfect scenario for conferences and meetings in which the investors and businesses make important decisions in favor of the country’s stability and global development.
To help the accomplishment of these international events, the government has considered appropiate to exclude all those not-domiciled international organisations of the obligation to issue payment vouchers in the case of the souvenirs used for these kind of events.
This exception is regulated by the modification of the Reglamento de Comprobantes de Pago (Payment Vouchers Regulation), approved by the Resolution Nº 007-99/SUNAT, to establish new operations exempt from the issuance of payment vouchers.
