The scholarship program AUXADI / CEF will allow Latin American students of the business school to engage in gainful internships in Accounting at the headquarters of the firm in Madrid. The agreement has been signed by Victor Salamanca Cuevas and Arturo de las Heras, CEOs of both institutions.

The Business School Center for Financial Studies- CEF and AUXADI , Accounting , Reporting & Compliance Services , have signed a collaboration agreement for the creation of AUXADI / CEF Scholarships; a program of internships in accounting that will be remunerated an done in Spain addressed to Latin American students of the business school.

These grants are designed so that a group of Latin American students of the CEF have a first professional experience in Europe from the hand of one of the Spanish companies with major international presence. Seven students from countries such as Chile, Mexico, Ecuador, Peru, Guatemala, Panama, Brazil and Colombia will be able to benefit from this first edition of the scholarships. To gain access to them, students are required to have a degree in Accounting, three and five years professional experience in accounting positions in their home countries, high level of English and be registered (or in process of doing so) in any of the CEF Professional Masters: MBA, Master in Finance, Master in Taxation and Tax Advice or Master of Business Consultancy.

AUXADI will allocate a total of 60,000 Euros to this training project. The scholarships practices will have a length equal to the duration of the Master; they will be held at the headquarters of AUXADI in Madrid and will have a financial aid of 600 Euros per month plus a meal tickets complement. The objective of this initiative is to strengthen the talent among the chosen students through internships within a renowned company as AUXADI, as well as to complete the specialized training received in the CEF. The admission period for applications will be open until June 30th and the selection of the beneficiaries will take place the first week of July, under the command of a committee composed of representatives from both institutions. The first incorporations are planned for early October. These grants are in turn compatible with other scholarships of the CEF.

According to Arturo de las Heras, CEO of the CEF and UDIMA,“These grants will greatly enrich the European experience of our Latin American students, as it will allow them to compare their academic training received in the Master with its practical application in the real world of the Spanish business. ”
